There is a league, called the SSL. It just started its third season this week or next week.

Would you guys be interested in a ladder-esq league for Starsiege? Once my current project for tJY is complete, I'd be up for coding something...

i'm inclined to agree. even though starsiege is one of my favorite games (in 3D, that is), and though i hate admitting it, it's true: Starsiege is dead. there aren't enough people left playing for a ladder to succeed.

hmmm...Well, I agree a ladder probably wouldn't make it, because its been tried before and it can't compete with the league. I think the 119 people in the SSL, and alot of the rest of us, would disagree that SS is a dead game. It may not exactly be strong and is past its prime, but it ain't dead.

Damned right.

Elementals is doing a "best of" competition for each vehicle chassis (Best Of Adjudicator, Best Of Apocalypse, etc.) and we have more than enough people just among us to make it an interesting contest.

It seems to me (a non-dis pilot) that the smart thing to do would be either:

A) Get a PBW and shoot the guy in the cockpit.

or

B) Get a Smart Gun and a turbo and go round and round and round.

i meant me in my choice vehicle vs. Dis. i meant me and fat guns on a little Herc blasting the piss out of a Dis. i meant me getting the most Dis kills ever.
