To play SS? No. Gamecommander 2 is about the only commercial program that was made that would let you use voice commands TO play SS.

Teamspeak used WHILE someone plays SS? Yes.Of course!

Teamspeak can be used while you play almost anything, though admittedly it would be difficult to use while playing underwater twister.

It is sometimes a better experience though if you use it with others and even better if you use it with others while playing a multiplayer game.

The best and ultimate experience though would be to use it with others who are playing the SAME multiplayer game you are playing. At the same time.

On the other hand many people consider Ventrilio a much better internet gaming voice chat program with less bloat and lower bandwidth hogging than Teamspeak.
