axis patch 1.04 unable to apply, help

I have full version, cd key and all. i downloaded patch 1.04. and try to apply it, overwriting the previous folders when i unzipped it. however the game screen still reads 1.03, and this is because when the patch tries to apply it self i get the error "registration key error" something to that extent. i know that i never inputed a registration key because there never was any prompt. how do you register with the cd key if this is the problem? The game starts by itself and it is the full version but in 1.03. Also, what i did was download demo, then upgrade to full. help.

If it isn't the korean one, the patch will not apply correctly....
It will also crash and screw up your game if it's the REAL.com one...

Aye, I should've noted that it's for the Korean retail version only...
