    MTX worked fine for me, it just takes a day and a half for me at least to complete the download. IT installed with no problems. (Although admittedly since I've got my 250 GB drive partitioned I had to install both MTX and the game onto the same partition (not the main)

    Bloody hell, MekTek finally finished the free release! To the mechs!

    Edit: Provided of course whenever they fix the download problem with their software...

    For reference, we had a 14 player TDM going yesterday night (Tuesday). 10 players (simultaneously) per night is pretty common these days.

    Or some of us just get tired of trying to "Revive Starsiege". We tried to get Xfire support six years ago, nothing came of it. We tried again three years ago, nothing happened. And on all attempts we always had full custom Xfire support via xfire_games.ini and always left a note "All you have to do is add support server-side." We're no closer now than we were back then.

    Maybe because some of us could care less about another messenger protocol. Back in the days it was ICQ and AIM, then MSN and Yahoo got popular for a time. ICQ has fallen off of late with Aim and MSN being the biggest ones, but now Gmail's GTalk, Jabber, MySpace, Facebook, and so many other tangent sites with their own remote login/messengerlites, and then now there is the Xfire one, sorry, I just sigh. I guess I personally don't get the point. I know my one brother uses it, and good for him, but I've never seen the need.

    That. When you try it checks to see if the screenshot is from a game that it supports. They learned that lesson years ago when people could take a screenshot in any game, overwrite it with a picture of anything, and upload it to the Xfire servers.

    Can you upload screenshots and videos from that to XFire's site, or won't it like the fact that it was taken from an unofficial game?

    Xfire Ingame Support Fix version 2 [100% ingagme functionality]
    Coded BY: alderon == Tested by LordVaati

    Add to your xfire_games.ini
    Code:
    [9999]
    LongName=Starsiege
    ShortName=starsiege
    LauncherDirKey=HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Dynamix\Starsiege\Path
    LauncherExe=Starsiege.exe
    LauncherPasswordArgs=+password %UA_GAME_HOST_PASSWORD%
    LauncherNetworkArgs=+connect %UA_GAME_HOST_NAME%:%UA_GAME_HOST_PORT% %UA_LAUNCHER_PASSWORD_ARGS%
    Launch=%UA_LAUNCHER_EXE_PATH% %UA_LAUNCHER_EXTRA_ARGS% %UA_LAUNCHER_NETWORK_ARGS%
    ServerStatusType=TRIBES
    InGameRenderer=OGL
    InGameFlags=USE_DINPUT1|ENABLE_MOUSE|USE_DINPUT_MOUSE
    InGameOGLTextureOffset=32000
    The dirty work is done....
    And as for official support: now we wait.......

    You can still add Starsiege to your Xfire_games.ini file and get Xfire in-game and be able to do a live stream.

    I haven't time to thoroughly debug this bit of code, but it will add custom support for Starsiege: CLICKY. You must be running Starsiege in OpenGL for it to work. Xfire does not play nice with games running in software mode. I don't think server support is there either since we no longer have the Dynamix master server.
    I CAME, also.....they will as long as we have a permenant solution...aka: duster/eye's community servers
    also: ever heard of direct ip join?
